Appointments are allocated for patients with suspected or confirmed genetic, inflammatory and other muscle diseases (i.e., myopathies).
All patients need to provide specialist referrals with results of basic examinations, a statement on the suspected condition and a clear indication for the referral. Due to a focus of the Neuromuscular Disease Clinic on specific diseases that require treatment at specialised (tertiary) health centres, we cannot provide basic examinations of unspecific muscle complaints in our clinic.
All documents need to be provided and assessed by our team in advance to decide on the allocation of appointments. Appointments are allocated according to a waiting list or clinical severity.
